accommodation in Corsica, France

Hello world ok it has been a long time since I have updated my blog been super busy anyway a friend of mine told me to check out this website

So I basically I was amazed at what I found so as you know it’s nearly he new year which is good and Meany of you are going to start looking for them holidays soon to get in for Easter and the summer so today I’m looking up holiday in France and what it can offer you and your family.

I looking at this and saying times are tough not going to lie so it always nice to get away for a week or a weekend experience different culture so today I’m talking about travel tips in France and It got me thinking what would families with small children or people with children growing up want

They want it cheap, travel, a beach entertainment close to a town for shopping etc. anyway I have found a few places that have got just that.

The first one is in solenzara in Corsica France. It’s an apartment to rent. I’ve looked at the pictures it is in the nice location got a review of 7.9 out of 10 in total now when I look at reviews I look for anything above 5 or 6 and this is in the high 7’s going on to 8 that is good it a 45 square meters apartment with two bedrooms. Has a pool, balcony Internet so you can update your Facebook status only 900m from the beach any closer you are on the beach. 8KM to the nearest shopping Centre that just less than 4 miles.

This one comes in at just under 54 euros a day based on a week holiday you looking at. £270 and because it’s in France you can just put your car on the train and drive there yourself. No need for plane tickets and that very cheap for a holiday in this day in age for the whole family based on two kids and two adults.

Next one I looked at is a little way from the beach it’s in sant’antonino in France as well a much bigger it’s 80 square meters close to town has more bedrooms it’s 11 k, to the shopping center and 9km to the beach so that’s just under five miles from the beach again you can drive this comes in at 63 euros a day based on a week again. Your looking t just under £400 for the week little bit more expensive however it has a much right rating of an 8.6 out of 10 so for a under pound more I would go for that it has more space only bad thing you got to drive everywhere unless you travel light then you can walk and take in the views meet the locals

This website that I found dose not bore you with useless information it gets to the point. It all depends on what you like to do as I say you can fly, take the ferry, train to France.

I found the website easy to use no problems have all the Facebook, and twitter follower I found it really easy to search and as you know I am dyslexic and I like to find the information quickly I don’t like to read lots not because I’m lazy but I like the information in front of me and this website dose it all for you.

The weather

When people go away they want to know if it’s going to be hot or not don’t want to be stuck indoors all the time now. The weather is UN predictable I’m not weather man just a blogger anyway.

The weather in this area of France it’s down on the coast best time to go will be the June, July, august even September it starts to cool off first off highest is 30 degrees in the uk that’s a hose pipe ban right there lowest is around 21 still hot

The raining season drops around this time so it’s the summer is the best time to go away for a week or two. I’m not saying it won’t rain but there are fewer raining days than normally

Ok things to take
Your self is the main one I have read and seen times when people have gone away and left granddad or son behind so make sure everyone accounted for.

Passports and id’s although it part of the EU best to make sure really never know when you get asked for ID etc. an British citizen can go with ID but for sure take passports 100% this more important than anything else you take keep them safe.

Booking train or ferry you can just turn up and buy on the day but during peak season or peak times properly be there until next week waiting but if you shop around online can get it cheaper than paying on the day hassle free and no disappointment.

Again you can fly to France from any number of airports around the UK but look up online as you may get it cheaper than buying from the airline direct.

Money can go and get euros from the Travel agent post office etc. but most French ATMS allow you to use your bank card it can be cheaper but watch out some may charge you a fee like the airports do so my recommendation is make friends with your travel agent and they fix you a good rate.

If you drive in France in the UK registered car then you do not need a green card to travel

If your using mobile phone while away make sure it an international phone other wise your going to get a big bill at the end of the month for use of your phone while you a way.

More information can be found on this website.

Also I’m going to cover what not to take on holiday

Take a lot of toiletries you be pulling big amount of weight around with you can get these item over there as they do sell them it also might be good to take it in small bottles so leaving the big ones behind.

Holiday reading take one book of course but multiple books are going to weight you down more and more you can take a e book reader like an I pad take a swim etc. etc.

Clothes

Not normally a problem for men but try on everything you going to ware before you go even get you men to do it as well no need for the image of the beach a t shirt that don’t fit and the beer belly hanging out not needed it scare the kids.

Salad cream

It hard to get the home good but try new things that why your on holiday and with stuff like salad cream there a chance it blow up in your bag and go all over the clothes and you don’t want to be smelling of that all holiday happened to me once and it went all over my hair could not get it out.

Hair straighteners

Girls I know this is a good idea and you like to look good not a bad thing but the plugs are direct to the UK they are the European plugs so you need a convertor can get from supermarkets and the post office.

And do not take fireworks.
They are not allowed and you get your car searched etc. if custom pulls you over you goanna get a fine

Again I am not a travel agent but in this day and age the prices that mentioned above and the website it well worth it so book early to save disappointment it dose not cost a lot.
